Message From the Principal
Wow! We had such an amazing turnout at SLAM Night! We had over 70 families attend and roughly 250 plus guests. Our community partners loved being able to provide supports. Our staff loved being able to help with reading, math, translation, and tech as well! We want to thank everyone for all of their help!
Today ends the first quarter of our school year. These nine weeks have flown by! Report cards will go home at parent teacher conferences. Parent teacher conferences take place on Wednesday (or another time if scheduled that way with your child's teacher). There will be no school on Wednesday because of this.
On Tuesday we will have our October PTO meeting in the library at 5pm. We have been working on having a fundraiser to support field trip costs. We would love for you to join us.
10/6 is our final day of school for two weeks. We will have fall break until 10/21. Students will return on 10/23. We wish everyone a great weekend and a safe break!
With Lynwood Pride,
Jay Lovell
Principal

Culture Guide
E= Events: We cannot control things that happen
R= Response: We can control our response to the event
O=Outcome: Having a proper response will get the desired outcome.
This concept is powerful for all of us. Daily, many things happen that are out of our control. We can lash out or we can pause, think, and then respond. Pausing for reflection allows us to get the outcome that we need and want.
