Teacher Requests 23/24

As the end of the school year approaches, we know that many parents begin thinking about the next school year. Since many have already asked, we wanted to remind parents that we will not take specific teacher requests for the 23/24 school year.

A lot of time is spent building class lists, and many factors are considered. We are lucky at Shawnee to have a supportive staff filled with wonderful teachers.

We are excited to focus on a positive finish to a super year!

Students Keeping iPads This summer

As the summer approaches, we want to provide information regarding your child’s school-issued iPad.

· This year, we will extend the practice of students keeping their school-issued iPad for the summer to include all elementary students.

· If you purchased technology insurance, it will cover the iPad through the summer. Enrollment in the annual insurance program will be available again at the start of the new school year.

· Please install all available software updates before returning to school in August.

· If your student does not plan to use the iPad over the summer months, please store it in a safe location with the charger so it will be easy to find, charge, and update before school begins in August.

· It is important to remember this iPad is the property of the Easton Area School District and should only be used by the student to whom it was issued.
