Math Tutoring

Having trouble with math? Need a place to make up missing work? Math help will be available every Thursday from 3-4pm in room 10 with Mr. Holwegner. All grade levels are welcome!

Starting Monday December 18th gold cards will be available for girls' basketball and wrestling.

PRIOR TO JANUARY 16TH ALL students must obtain a GOLD CARD from the main office to participate in girls' basketball or wrestling:

1. Complete the Online Athletic Registration each season(fall, winter and spring):

   https://poudreathletics.sportngin.com/middleschools

2. Turn in a hard copy of Current Physical from your Doctor’s office to Ms. Roth in the main office. Physicals cannot be uploaded or completed online. A physical is good for 364 days.

1. If you have questions about your current physical, please see Ms. Roth.

3. Pay the Athletic fee on school pay or by cash or check to Ms. Lamb in the main office. You will need to show Ms. Roth your receipt (you can print receipt or show Ms. Roth a picture).

1. Fees will be refunded if you do not make the team (girls basketball)

2. Checks should be made out to Lesher Middle School

Hello Lesher Families,

This week, students whose ELO course changes in 3rd quarter will be completing the course selection survey during ELO. ELO stands for "extended learning opportunity" which is an enrichment opportunity Lesher students take at the end of the day. The deadline for this survey is Monday, Dec. 11th by 3:00pm. Students who submit a response may still make changes to their selections up until that deadline.

From their top four choices, our staff will do their best to put students into their top selection. Remember, this is for the third quarter only.

Note, some of our students will not be taking this survey because their 3rd quarter ELO has already been pre-selected. For example, our students who are in "Set Design" for the musical or are on the Yearbook staff will not need to take this survey, as their ELO does not change at quarter. Not sure if your student falls into this category? No need to worry, our teachers and counselors will make sure that students whose courses are changing take the survey.

Your ELO has posted a wish list of items we hope to collect, and you can sign up for what you plan to donate. Donations of wrapping paper are also greatly appreciated!

Want to help a different way? Create thoughtful cards, puzzles, and mazes that can be included with the gifts!

This week, updates have been rolled out to all student laptops. To apply these updates, you'll be required to restart your laptop multiple times. To determine if a restart is necessary, click on the Windows button; if prompted, choose "Update and Restart" or "Update and Shut Down." Ensure your laptop is plugged in and charging before initiating the restart. The process will take approximately 20-30 minutes, with some restarts potentially lasting several hours. Keep the screen open throughout the update. Note that these updates will occur on the second Tuesday of each month. If you encounter any problems or have issues, feel free to reach out to Ed Tech Coordinator Becky Knips at rknips@psdschools.org. Thank you!
