College Fit 102

Now that you know your EFC, are confident you've met college, SAT/ACT requirements, and have a good idea where your GPA meets campus expectations. You've done your research and have a list of colleges, it's time to move from College Fit 101, to College Fit 102.

The resources below will help refine your list of potential colleges, to a healthy balance of 8-10 Safety, Target and Reach schools.

If your test scores and grades are above the average student at that school it's likely you will be admitted = Safety School. Choose 3-4 safety schools. $$$ here is the greatest opportunity for merit scholarships $$$.

If your scores and grades are on point with the average student at that school = Target School. Choose 2-3 Target schools.

If your scores and grades are lower than the average student at that school but you feel you have that something extra = Reach School. Choose 1-2 reach schools.
