Monday this week is Martin Luther King Day. Students will not have school and staff will have professional development. Friday this week is the end of the quarter and therefore an early out. Dismissal is scheduled for 1:15 at Ramsey (K-2) and 1:20 for Sanford (3-4).

Ramsey families, please note that Friday is going to be Hat Day for grades K-2. Wear your favorite Hat to School!

Thank you to families and students who were able to make it to the boys basketball game on January 12th to sing The Star Spangled Banner before the Varsity Boys Basketball Game! It was a lot of fun and the students did an exceptional job! Families can be very proud!

Mark your calendars for Letters and Arts Night!

Art and Letters Night is a big event in our district. This event is a celebration of reading and art! Come to the event to and listen to some local "celebrity" readers read some of their favorite children's books, choose your own book to take home, and even grab a slice of pizza to enjoy! But don't forget the best part! Elementary Students will have their artwork on display. Our gym will be transformed into our very own art museum of our best work. Parents, don't forget to grab a couple of $1 bills to put in your pocket, there may be an opportunity to grab a bag of popcorn to enjoy and support PBIS in our elementaries.

Join us in congratulating our Super Hawks this week!

Students who are showing their Hawk Pride may get a Hawk Pride Slip recognizing them for their positive behavior from a staff member. Names are selected from these names to celebrate these students and thank them for their positive behavior each week.

When playing outside, respect other students' snow forts and snow creations. Someone worked hard to build it.

You will see some new faces around MES this year as well as many familiar faces. We will be introducing staff, both new and returning through out the year.
