ONLINE PBL MATH SUMMER WORKSHOPS
FREE FOR INDIANA TEACHERS! SPACE IS LIMITED.
MAKING THE ELEMENTARY/ SECONDARY CLASSROOM COME ALIVE WITH PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
This FREE online workshop supports Indiana teachers in designing project-based learning units to deeply engage their students in mathematics. We explore the nuts and bolts of designing an effective PBL unit, while ensuring the Indiana Mathematical Process Standards are the cornerstones to the unit. Learn about PBL and E-learning at the same time! Strong Internet connection is highly encouraged. Basic knowledge of Google Slides is helpful. These workshops are made possible through the funding of the STEM Teach IV Grant, and are at no cost to Indiana teachers.
Please note that 6th grade teachers working in elementary schools should register for an elementary workshop and those in a middle school should register for the secondary PBL workshop.
Workshop presenters: Dr. Jean Lee (University of Indianapolis) & Dr. Enrique Galindo (Indiana University Bloomington)
