K-3 students will have the opportunity to purchase a different peanut free ice cream treat for lunch on Fridays! Ice cream will be sold by Pre-Order only. Please complete the permission slip below and return to your child's school.

Careful attention is paid when creating class lists. As a team, Classroom teachers, Specials' teachers, and the Resource team members, and I, work together to create balanced classrooms. We take into account academic and social needs of students as well as work to make sure there is a familiar face (this isn't always a best friend) for students. Parents are welcome to share information on their child's learning style and/or classroom environment that they feel would best support their child's growth. Specific teacher requests are not accepted. Any parent who wishes to share information about placement should direct all letters to mkartsimas@sd81.org or schedule a time to come in for a meeting with me to discuss your thoughts and/or concerns. All placement information is due to me no later than April 22nd.

Please be diligent to keep your child's information current with our school office. If you have new telephone numbers, new email, or new emergency contact information, please make sure to let our office staff know. Thank you!

You may have noticed that the lanes of the South parking lot have been coned off during arrival & dismissal. Due to losing spots for the construction fence in the North Lot, the parking spots in the South Lot are full with faculty/staff vehicles.

Parking is available on Hartford Court (the street between the apartment buildings), Seymour, Wehrman (North of Seymour), and Scott Street. Please remember to be courteous to our neighbors & do not block driveways.
