PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Pleasant Run Families:

We had a very busy week, but overall it was extremely successful! We welcomed several new Kindergarten families to Pleasant Run, enjoyed STEAM Night at Warren Central HS, put our skates on at the Roller Cave and ended the week with Donuts w/ Dudes!

Please note that ILEARN testing will be taking place for our 3rd and 4th grade students beginning on Monday, April 22nd. It is important that our students arrive to school on time and are ready to do their very best. Your teacher will be sharing our official testing schedule over the next few days.

I wanted to make sure you knew that we now have a new app and website! The purpose of the app and website is to provide regular updates through the live feed, district news, and

district events sections as well as other important district information. The app includes easy access to the weekly breakfast and lunch menu, staff contacts, district documents, bullying and safety reporting form, and much much more. The Warren app can be downloaded at the Apple and Android App Store. Stay informed and download the app today. The district website is www.warren.k12.in.us.

PTA NEWS

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.

The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.

Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
