Hour of Code
Over the past decade, Computer Science Education Week has almost become synonymous with their signature event, ‘Hour of Code’. The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science.
All of the Hour of Code activities can be found on this website: https://code.org/learn and all of them can be done on the Chromebook.
There are hundreds of different activities you can choose from; the activities vary in terms of
grade level
coding environment
academic focus (science, math, social studies, art)
Even though it states an HOUR of code, most of the activities can be completed in less than 60 minutes.
