About the Learning Support Program

It is an extraordinary privilege to work with your child’s teacher at Saint Katharine of Siena School as the learning support teacher for this academic school year. I will be working with our principal, Mrs.Crowley, and grade level faculty . Your child’s teachers and I feel learning opportunities to foster collaboration between teachers, assist in a small group within their classroom , and / or in a separate setting will result in further strengthening his or her individualized success in areas of reading acquisition, mathematical application, problem solving, organizational skills, study and test taking skills. The learning support program can also provide your child with an opportunity to learn to build self confidence in their academic endeavors throughout the school year. Together, we can bridge the gap that may be hindering one’s educational potential.

About the Instructional Support Team at SKS

The Instructional Support Team at SKS is a way to create a team consisting of teachers, parent (s), principal, and staff from the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (school psychologists, counselors, and specialists) to collaborate and design a plan to ensure your child receives the support needed to work to their academic, social, or emotional potential. The IST process is initiated for a student after educational testing has occurred with the discretion of the parents and cooperating teachers .

Anne Bondi, IST Teacher

Kristen Mulvaney, IST Teacher
