Pre-K 110 Newsletter

Hey families! We have successfully completed the first two weeks of school. We are entering the month of September and I hope your a ready for an exciting month of laughter, learning, and fun! This is our official monthly newsletter. This newsletter will include student goals, birthdays, upcoming events, monthly reading sign ups, parent engagement projects, and more. You will receive this letter every month until May of 2024. Be prepared for silly photos of the kiddos and videos or snapshots of the kiddos working hard on different skills. - Z. Butler

ELA: Students will be able to identify letters S, F, and M. They will know the sound and the formation of each letter. Students will also start identifying beginning sounds of words. (ex: (s)tar, (m)ax, (f)rog.

Math: Students will work on rote counting to 10 and complete 1:1 correspondence by matching number of items to the print of the number.

Science: Students will be able to identify items that are heavy and light. As well as explaining the concept more and less,

Social Studies: Students will learn how to share, ask nicely for items, and how to collaborate in the classroom.

For the 2023-2024 school year our Nance family is laser focused on showing that we have H.E.A.R.T ! This is theme for this school year and the principles we hold our team accountable for. Our goal is to showcase honesty, empathy, accountability, respect, tenacity daily at school and outside of the building! Please remind students of our school's core values !
