Student Transfers

Under the Teacher Menu, click on Enter Classroom Grading. This is where you will enter and view linked grades for students that transfer to your gradebook mid grade reporting periods.

• Transfer from one school to another within the District.

• Transfer from one course/section to another at the same school within the District.

Students transferred into a new course will have an 'L' next to their name in the gradebook.

If you click on the ‘L’, a window will pop up and show all assignments and grades of the previous course that was linked to the new course.

Option #1: View the previous grades by clicking on ‘L’. See if any Assignments are same/similar. If there are many similar class assignments, the new teacher can manually transfer (type in) the previous course's grades into the new course, to update the student’s grade average.

Option #2: View the previous grade average by clicking on ‘L’. The new teacher can manually transfer (type in) the previous course's Grade Average across all assignments in the new course to update the student’s grade average.

Are previous course grades viewable on Parent Portal (for a transferred student)?

No. Parents can only see the courses a student is enrolled in currently.
