The Valentine's Day Tea is a special tradition many of our families look forward to each school year! We are pleased to announce we will be returning to our pre-COVID traditions this school year.
Keeping in line with our tradition, we encourage students to wear their "Dressy Best!" Students will delight in punch and treats, while celebrating this special day wearing fancy clothing with their special guest. Please note, due to space constraints, it is important that each child has only one guest.
VALENTINE BOXES OR SACKS TO BE MADE AT HOME: It has become a tradition at ABC-Stewart for each child to make his/her own Valentine Box or Bag in which to collect the Valentines exchanged at school. This family project is completed at home. Please have the boxes to school no later than Tuesday, February 7th. All boxes/bags are admired and displayed at school. We suggest that boxes are at least the size of a shoe box and bags the size of a medium to large gift bag. In the past we have had some clever ideas such as mailbox shapes, Snoopy’s house, etc. The box or bag does not have to appeal to adults. The important thing is that your child helps and is proud of it.
VALENTINE EXCHANGE: The week of February 6th-10th, each student needs to bring the number of Valentines listed below for his/her homeroom. These Valentines should only be signed as to whom they are from, and not who they are for. Please make sure to have Valentines/treats at school by February 10th! Our Valentine's Tea will be held Tuesday, February 14th.
