Principal's Message: Holiday Season upon Us
Hello Hawks Families,
I hope you all have had an excellent start to this holiday season. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year, as I always look forward to being intentional in showing gratitude and appreciation to those in my life. As the principal of College Place High School, everyday I feel blessed to work with the amazing teachers, students, and families in our community!
This month's Hawk Happenings Monthly Newsletter will focus on some of our upcoming holiday events in December including our annual Giving Tree drive, Christmas Eve Luncheon, and Winter Holiday concerts. We also will have a presence in the Dec. 2nd City of College Place Festival of Lights parade and hope to see many of you out there!
For any parents or family members who would like to contribute holiday treats this year to our amazing staff, please feel free to click on the below link courtesy of our Parent Advisory Council. There is a sign-up genius families can use to select a type of treat they can commit to bringing in for our staff on Wed. Dec. 15th. Thank you to those who participate, our staff appreciates the thoughtfulness!

In closing, I hope this time of year is a joyous one for you. I know there are many kids in our school that do not look forward to the prolonged break that comes at the end of December. We hope to create a little special feeling for all students during these weeks leading up to winter break, and to shower students with the love and encouragement they deserve to experience everyday.
Happy holidays and Go Hawks!

Annual College Place High School Christmas Eve Luncheon Information
Greetings CPHS families,
It is that special time of year again at College Place High School. We are planning our Sixth Annual Christmas Eve Luncheon to kick off the holiday season. As part of College Place High School’s guiding principles, our aim is to ensure that our students have and continue to “build relationships where they feel connected, valued, and inspired.” Our goal is to create a family within the walls of this school and to extend this to the families in our community. This is an opportunity to build up and guide our students to become leaders in service.
On Saturday, December 18 from 12:00pm-3pm we will be open for families to drive by the school and pick-up a curbside delivered meal full of the traditional savory holiday dinner trimmings.
If you have any questions or would like to help in any way, please feel free to contact any of our Pathways Specialists, or High School Counselor Ms. Silva-Ponds.
