The IUSD Virtual Academy PTA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders and community members is important to the success of our students and school. That's why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the education experience and overall well-being of all students.

At a National PTA School of Excellence, families feel welcomed and empowered to support student success, and PTA is a key partner for continuous school improvement. We feel IUSD Virtual Academy and IUSD Virtual Academy PTA can achieve that together - and the result will be national , state and community-wide visibility for the positive impact we are making together at IUSD Virtual Academy.

We need your help! As part of the process, National PTA requests feedback from families, administrators and teachers at two points in the school year - the beginning and the end. Your feedback will help us improve our family-school partnership and achieve excellence.

Please take 5-10 minutes to reflect on your experience at this school and complete the attached survey. Select that most accurately expresses how you feel about your experience. This survey is completely anonymous.

CONGRATULATIONS to our pumpkin submission winner from 3rd grade! The winning submission picture has been entered into the Pumpkin Carving Contest and here's how we have a chance to win a donation for our PTA!

Our Pledge and Membership Drive has concluded and we are tallying the results from our Drive. We will be announcing the results and the winning classes by next week. Thank you for participating!

If you didn't get a chance to participate in our pledge and membership drive, no worries! We accept donations and membership year round. Your support is crucial to our success. Please consider joining our PTA. Your voice makes a difference by being an advocate for all our students. Your membership and pledge donations help PTA fund amazing student programs like Reflections, Red Ribbon Week, Multicultural Festival, Year-End Celebration, and Teacher Appreciation Week!

Membership and Donations - Your $15.00 membership and donations supports valuable programs and events. Members enjoy many benefits including Membership Perks and voting rights at our meetings. Our Membership Goal is 275 members for the year. We encourage everyone to become a member (parents, grandparents, any family members, friends and neighbors just to name a few). Donations of any amount are always welcome.

We are so excited to offer an opportunity to be a Room Parent for your student's class. Room Parents help facilitate communication between parents and the teacher. This role also supports the teacher with tasks that may include: prepping items at home for distribution, organizing virtual events for the class, and/or distributing materials on campus. Room Parents are also essential to facilitate communication between the teacher and the PTA. You are a key to our success!

Help our school earn dollars! The Market Place is a great place to shop for your everyday needs or for that little somehing special. Shop and log your receipts to earn money for IUSD Virtual Academy PTA! Earn & Learn runs from September 1 through April 30. Plus, the school with the most dollars logged each month will earn a $250 bonus. Limit one bonus prize per school. Submit your receipts to help us earn $250 to $3,000 for our PTA.
