Diamond View Middle School
Mrs. Heimbigner, Principal

Welcome Panthers
Dear Students and Families,
I'm delighted to take this moment to reintroduce myself to those returning and extend a heartfelt welcome to our new students at Diamond View Middle School. My name is Mrs. Heimbigner, and I am the principal of Diamond View School. I feel truly honored to be a part of this incredible school and community.
Being a fourth-generation Lassen County native, Susanville holds a special place in my heart. I proudly carry the badge of being an alumna of Diamond View Middle School, Lassen High, and the University of Nevada. Whether it's our DV Panthers, LHS Grizzlies, or Nevada Wolf Pack, you can count on me to cheer them on with genuine enthusiasm! I'm always excited to see our students excel both in academics and on the fields or courts.
Middle school is a pivotal and transformative period in young people's lives. Reflecting on my time at Diamond View, I remember a mix of challenges and triumphs. Yet, what truly made a difference was the unwavering support I received from an exceptional team of teachers, support staff, and administrators. They went the extra mile to help me realize my full potential and strive for academic excellence. That is my number one goal for you when you attend this school.
Looking forward, we are excited to build upon the positive momentum we experienced towards the end of the previous year. Our top priorities are high academic standards and nurturing a positive campus culture. We believe that the best outcomes stem from collaboration between parents and school staff.
I'm eagerly anticipating the chance to meet and work alongside every one of you. Your involvement and support are crucial to our school's success. I encourage you to drop by and say hello whenever it suits you, and if you're interested in scheduling a meeting, don't hesitate to reach out via phone or email to schedule a time.
Here's to a fantastic school year ahead!
Warmly,
Mrs. Heimbigner
