A Word from Principal Lindsay
It was another great week to be a Rambler! Saturday brings the first official day of Fall. As we have all noticed the weather is chilly in the morning. Please make sure to send your Rambler with weather and school appropriate clothing. Our elementary students do spend the mornings outside. If you need help with winter clothing please reach out to myself of Nurse Swanson.
This next week has a lot of Rambler events we hope to see you at.
As always, if you have questions or concerns please feel free to swing by my office for a cup of coffee or shoot me an email. Please continue reading for additional information regarding your child's education.

Free Sealant Clinic-October 6th
A message from Susan Ellis at Central District Health:
Central District Health is coming to our school to provide a FREE Sealant Clinic during our Parent Teacher Conferences on October 6th. Forms will be sent home with your child that you can fill out and sign if you would like your child to participate. Please fill in all spaces if you would like to participate. The last few years have been hard on children, and many have found it difficult to go to the dentist. We are aware that dental decay is the most prevalent disease affecting childhood contributing to a loss of productive learning hours! It is our hope that we can assist in helping children by strengthening their teeth and help referring those in need of care.
A Licensed Dental Hygienist will do a screening exam, paint fluoride varnish, and/or apply sealants to any tooth that needs a sealant or needs repair on an old sealant. We will repair any sealant regardless of who placed it. Sealants are a type of plastic that is “painted” onto the tooth and then it goes down in the grooves of the tooth where cavities usually start. This protects the grooves and stops a lot of the cavities from starting! Fluoride Varnish is very safe and can be applied multiple times a year. Because only a small amount is “painted” on their teeth, they will not get too much. The result is a stronger tooth surface as the fluoride absorbs into the tooth structure. After the clinic, we will send home a note for parents regarding our screening exam and services that were provided. This service is free of charge to you. We will bill insurance or Medicaid if the child has it, but we do not bill for any outstanding balance. We are a non-profit organization, but in billing what we can, this enables us to serve more children. If you have no insurance, the service is FREE.
2023-24 Athletics Schedules
Most of our Fall Athletics calendars are posted on the athletics calendar on our website - click here to go to our athletics calendar.
As our seasons unfold, coordinating events and managing changes can be difficult. Then, communicating the changes to our loyal fans is even more difficult. On the webpage linked above, if you click on the "Get Alerts" button, you can sign up to be notified of any schedule changes and you can even embed specific athletic calendars to your own personal calendar.
