Join us for the JoLLE@UGA 2016 Winter Conference!
JoLLE's 2016 Winter Conference, themed "Lived Words and Worlds: Community Engaged Literacies," is January 29-31, 2016 on the UGA campus at The Georgia Center. Find more information, including the link for conference registration, here.
JoLLE's new "Take 2" feature!
The Take 2 is a new monthly feature meant to highlight a past JoLLE article and author. As JoLLE celebrates its 10th year in publication, we hope that revisiting these articles will give readers a sense of how the journal has evolved, as well as its ongoing contribution to the field of language and literacy education. Our inaugural Take 2 will feature Dr. Shirley Brice Heath's 2005 editorial in the very first issue of JoLLE. Find more information here.

JoLLE@UGA
The Journal of Language & Literacy Education is a peer-reviewed, open access journal housed in the Department of Language & Literacy Education in the College of Education at The University of Georgia.
Since its inception in 2004, JoLLE has provided a space for scholars to engage readers in a broad spectrum of issues related to the field. As an online journal, we encourage submissions that incorporate multiple modes (e.g., photographs, artwork, video, and graphics).
