Christmas Program Details
Our students are busy practicing for their program on Thursday, December 14th, and we are so excited to share the gift of music with you! 🎶
Parking is always very busy on concert day, please plan accordingly, and at the end of your child(ren)’s concert please exit the building/parking lot as efficiently & safely as possible to allow for the next group to come in. A reminder to please send a cold lunch with your child, unless you let your classroom teacher know (by Monday December 4), to have the kitchen provide a cold lunch.
We are also doing our food drive for the Durand Food Pantry, so if you would like to bring a non-perishable item we will have carts set up in the commons for your donations.
Thank you!!
LIGHT UP THE SCHOOL WITH KINDNESS!
We started Random Acts of Kindness to light up our school. Students and staff can fill out a light bulb if they see someone doing something kind. We are only a week in and the school is already so bright!
📚 It is time for a book swap! 📚
🍬🎄🍭 Disguise a Gingerbread Man for the Library! 🍬🎄🍭
Students are invited to disguise a gingerbread man as a book character for display in the library. We're excited to see all of the creative disguises this year!
5th Grade made sun tea!
🌞🌞🌞 Fifth grade is studying about the power of the sun in ELA and Science. They made and enjoyed some sun tea last week! 🌞🌞🌞

SPREAD A LITTLE POSITIVITEE!
On the first Monday of every month (Monday, Dec. 4), we welcome and encourage you to have your child wear a T-shirt with a positive message.
Here are just a couple examples of positive messages: “Choose Kind,” “Be the Nice Kid,” “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” Any phrase or picture on a shirt that sends a positive thought and puts a smile on
someone’s face is welcomed!
This is completely optional of course, but we hope you consider having your child participate on the first Monday of every month!
Thank you for being such a positive part of our school community!
