Welcome back, Wildcat Families and Students!

We had a visit from a special guest! She was a long term substitute for us at Sullivan. Mrs. Campos stopped by to say hi and watch our Wildcat perform at the Winter Assembly. The students and staff were so excited to see her!

We have missed our Wildcats over the break! I hope everyone was able to relax and enjoy some rest!

Thank you to all our families who helped with our BEF and PTO fundraisers. We appreciate your continued support. We also have a special request from our parent groups that helps with LOVE ON YOUR BACK:

This holiday season the non-profit Love On Your Back will be collecting new blankets for each child in our program. Our goal is to collect 165 blankets.

• Monday 12/4: School Site Council Meeting will be held in the library from 3:00 to 4:00
• Tuesday 12/5: All Music performs at the Pala Administration Building - 5:30 to 7:00
• Friday 12/8: Art Show Poster contest ends. Get your submissions in!
• Students will be finishing their Student Portfolios this week to present at home.

Next Week and beyond:

• Monday 12/12: PTO Meeting in the Staff Lounge from 8:30 to 9:30.
• Wednesday 12/13 Show Choir will perform at Vivian Banks Elementary during the school day.
• Wednesday 12/20 Reindeer Run during the school day.
• MIN days: Tuesday 12/19, Wednesday 12/20, Thursday 12/21
• NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY 12/22.
• Winter Break 12/22-1/8.
• Students will return from Winter Break on TUESDAY 1/9

Winter sports will be Boys' Basketball and Girls' Soccer.

TIME TO HONOR OUR STUDENTS!

Time to Honor our Wildcats!

Students were invited by their teachers to have lunch in the library as the teachers celebrated and honored each student by reading a write-up about how much each student is cared for and appreciated!

Congratulations to our coaches and athletes on the amazing turn out for our sports! Great job Wildcats for trying your best and giving it your all for tryouts!

The team names have been posted on the MPR doors. Congratulations Wildcats!

Your student should have received the Wildcat Planner with the student handbook in the front. Please help your student by checking for homework and classwork completed every day. This is what Sullivan is using to help our Wildcats stay organized and another way for teachers and school to communicate with our families.

The California Department of Education passed legislation this past July that all school districts must remind parents and legal guardians of all students in the Bonsall Unified School District of their responsibilities for keeping firearms out of the hands of children as required by California law. BEF’s primary focus is fundraising for district educational programs that would otherwise be unavailable to students. We produce several large fundraising campaigns/events throughout the year, however patron donations can be made at any time.

ATTENTION PARENTS!

We are excited to announce that we extended our safety and security for all staff and students by installing a fence around the front of our school! Visitors will be required to bring ID and check in at the Welcome Booth before anyone is permitted on campus.

Only emergency vehicles, buses, those with handicap placards, and those with other special placards have access to the upper lot, emergency lane closest to the front of our schools. You will need to show your placard to Campus Security.

This decision to enforce our existing parking lot plan aligns with the recommendations of our community safety partners and will increase our ability to maintain a safe and secure site:

• When dropping students off, please use the lower levels of the parking lot.
• When visiting either the middle or the high school office, please park in the lower levels, bring your ID to the Welcome booth, and check in with the appropriate staff.
