We ask all students participating in on-site classes to notify your teachers if you or your family have plans to travel out of Pennsylvania or to other regions of the state. This is critical information needed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 upon our return to classes on April 6 and 7.

Friday Night Café
Our next and final FNC show, Friday Night Cafe - Special Edition, will be on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. Special Edition has traditionally been the only ticketed FNC show of the year, with funds going to support the high school jazz band's trip expenses. Our Tri-M officers are still organizing this year's final show and will provide details as soon as they are available.
Our Scholastic Art & Writing Award Competition Winners
We are proud to announce that CPFA has two Scholastics Art & Writing Award Competition Winners! Hannah Tilton received a Gold Key Award and Elie Pichanick received a Silver Key Award. Both Hannah and Elie have been nationally recognized in a competition with over 32,000 HS student art entries this 2020-2021 school year!

Tell Me A Story is a compilation of poems, short stories, and songs directed by Mrs. Rottman. Our students will be performing virtually on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 at 7 p.m. The online ticket link will be available soon.

Music Department News
March is Music In Our Schools Month. We invite all of our music students to take some time to play or sing some music you love.
Music students are cordially invited to attend a presentation from Millersville University’s MBT Program on Thursday, March 4 at 12:00 p.m. in Dr. Roberts’ Zoom room . Distinguished alumnus Jacqueline Ann Hynes will be making an appearance at this presentation to talk about how CPFA prepared her for music study at Millersville!
Dance Department News
The Dance Department will be hosting their annual Spring Dance Concert scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2021 with a rain date of Saturday, May 1, 2021. Keeping the health and safety of our dancers and families a priority, the performance will be held outside and ALL are welcome to attend this FREE event! Details about the Dance Concert are still being finalized and information will be made available soon. All the information will be emailed to dancers and parents as well as posted on the CPFA Homepage under the Dance tab.
There is no NHSDA meeting the first week in March. Mrs. Duncan will contact NHSDA members to schedule the next meeting.
Fine Arts Department News
NAHS students have volunteered to meet at CPFA on March 5 to take down and organize student artwork from 2019-2020 to return to students in April. They will also begin to curate permanent CPFA student artwork for display at the Enterprise Building along with a murals initiative.

March 21-27 is International Adolescent Health Week. The theme this year is adolescent Resilience in the Face of a pandemic. Wear lime green March 21-27. The color lime green represents health, happiness and the high energy and passion of adolescents. The purpose of this event is to advocate for successful transition into adulthood. Teens around the world have a lot in common. Celebrate the importance of teen health. Read more at www.iahw.org.
URGENT:
All 11th graders must submit a physical exam with evidence of their 2nd Meningitis vaccine before the end of this school year. Doctor's offices are eager to provide preventative health services! All 7th graders must submit a physical exam and dental exam before the end of this school year. All 6th graders must submit a physical exam and updated vaccine list. Please submit all of the above health requirements to Mrs. Swink tswink1@palcs.org.
We are excited to start CPFA gradual reopening the week of March 8. Please remember key strategies to decrease spread of COVID-19: wear masks, practice social distancing of 6 feet, wash hands frequently, STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK. Social isolation is a real thing. Talk to your friends, parents and trusted adults about your feelings. Please notify Mrs. Swink if you have Covid-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19. Tracking transmission of COVID-19 at CPFA, before and after reopening of CPFA, is very important. Covid-19 symptoms to report to Mrs. Swink include- fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, fatigue.
