Crane Elementary School Scoop

It has been a great first week! Thank you all for your patience, help, and keeping our students safe!

Drop Off and Pick Up lines are running smoothly and will get quicker with time.

Heated Food: Please keep in mind that there is only 20 minutes scheduled for lunch. Microwaves are available for heating food. However, if a meal such as Ramen noodles or Mac-n-cheese, takes three minutes to "cook", it takes that long or longer for it to cool down enough to be eaten safely.

Please be mindful of what is packed in your child's lunch.

Transportation/pick up changes must be called in no later than 2:30 PM everyday. The office is very busy at the end of the day. Having all messages in by 2:30 PM alleviates any last minute issues.

If you are the FIRST CAR in the K-6th pick up line (bus loop), please wait BEHIND the STOP sign until you see Mrs. Blair or another teacher heading your way. Doing this ensures that all bus are in the bus loop before cars enter. Thank you!

The next CSCO meeting will be Tuesday, September 12th at 5:30 PM in the preschool commons. These meetings will take place the second Tuesday of each month.

Boys & Girls Club will begin the week of August 28th. Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade are welcome to join. If you need an application sent home, you may contact the club's number at

Meet our new School Resource Officer (SRO) Officer Nolan! You may have seen him around and will be seeing him some more. He is here to keep our students safe!
