Nutrition News
We are excited to share Pomptonian’s next edition of the Nutrition News - Blueberries, New Jersey, and You! This virtual excursion promises to be both educational and engaging, offering students the opportunity to learn about the journey of blueberries from the farm to the lunch tray and the nutritional benefits they offer. Coming up in March we will be offering frozen local Blueberries, from Blueberry Bill Farms located in Hammonton, New Jersey.
NJPBSIS Update
Responsible ~ Respect ~ Self-Control
Last month, students, staff, and parents were asked to complete a survey voting on three words that reflect stakeholder priorities and preferences for, and commitment to, a pro-social identity for our school. The students, staff, and parents unanimously voted Responsible, Respect, and Self-Control.
This month, the WMS PBSIS Committee will develop a matrix of the skills, habits, and routines for each expectation and how they will be implemented across school settings.
Thank you to all those who voted and we look forward to making our students more responsible, helping them develop more self-control, and showing them how to be more respectful.
Spring Sports Physicals
All spring sports physicals are due no later than March 11th. Please see Nurse Tulli's Google Site for the forms and additional information. Students are also encouraged to speak with their coaches.
Did You Know?
Turnstile is a Genesis function which tracks student movement throughout the day to ensure your child is accounted for, safe, and where they should be when leaving the classroom.
You can now see all of your student's Turnstile check-ins in the Genesis Parent Portal. If you have concerns regarding how frequently your student is leaving the classroom, please feel free to reach out to your student's counselor or an administrator.
