Sequoia Elementary Newsletter
School News and Updates - September 28th, 2020
Principal Message
Dear Sequoia Families,
I know that this newsletter finds us in yet another unbelievably difficult situation with fires in our community. My heart goes out to each and every one of you as we experience this together. Please know that the Sequoia staff has been thinking of you and your children. We hope you will focus on safety and your family’s well-being, holding your children closer during this time. Reassure them that although this is scary, the Sequoia family is and will continue to be here to comfort and take care of them. We know that for many families, fires were in your direct neighborhood so please be in touch if your family is in need of support or help of any kind. Although we know we will need to take this one day at a time, we want to support and come along side you during this time.
A note about PSPS Packets:
Please keep these in a safe place. They are NOT to be opened until a PSPS event and only under direction from your child’s teacher. Our current wildfire situation is NOT a PSPS event. The entire district is closed until further notice due to this emergency. No work is required of your children during this time.
Our Sequoia community might just be the most resilient group I know, and this time will prove no different. We will get through this together. Please be in touch if you need anything at all.
Warmly,
Mrs. Clark
