3 Day Weekend

Owens Families,


Just a reminder that this weekend is a three day weekend. We have no school on Monday - Labor Day. We hope everyone enjoys the extra day of rest and time with family.


Next Friday, let's wear red, white and blue for Patriot Day on September 11th. Help us honor those that lost their lives on that day 19 years ago.

  • Education Galaxy includes multiple subjects for K-5 and login directions are below. It is ready to go!
  • Smarty Ants is a literacy one for K-2. We are currently working on getting those logins to work. It may be a few more days but we are going ahead and sharing both.

Learning Declaration for Second Six Weeks:

Please note the Learning Declaration Window opens September 7th in Parent Self Serve.


-Please denote if your student will be Learn@Home or Learn@School for the 2nd Six Weeks (September 28th - October 30th).

-This window closes on September 11th at 11:59 pm.

-If you do not declare during this time, we will maintain the student's position from the 1st Six Weeks.


The declaration process is important to prepare for safe procedures and learning environments for our students.

Declarations for 2nd Six Weeks Due

Picture Day is September 30th.

  • Every student will have their picture taken in school that day.

  • Learn@HOME students may come to the cafeteria entrance between 7:15-8:00 a.m. that day and be dropped at the door with a parent to wait outside and they will go to the cafeteria stage and have their picture taken. They must wear a mask to school but masks will be removed for the actual photo. This is optional to attend, not mandatory.
