Dear Orange Park Lion Parents,

We are excitedly looking forward to Orientation on August 8th. I would encourage you to plan on attending your child/children's orientation. You will not only meet the teachers but will also receive important information about School and PE uniforms, lunch plans, car line, and much more.

The following is the schedule for Orientation. Please strictly follow these times due to limited parking on campus; please arrive and depart on time.

Tuesday, August 8th

Kindergarten: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Grade 1: 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.

Grade 2: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Grade 3: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Grades 4 & 5: 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We are pleased to welcome you to the inaugural year of our new campus in Orange Park! We understand this process is new for all of our scholars and families. Please know there may be a delay in receiving uniforms. Therefore, a grace period will be in effect until Labor Day.

Your scholar will need an everyday uniform, a formal uniform, and a PE uniform by this deadline. If the grace period is needed, they should wear clothing similar in color/style to uniform. To ensure timely delivery, please order uniforms upon acceptance. All scholars are expected to be in full uniform beginning Tuesday, September 5th.

Cost to participate: $2 per day, unless otherwise noted.

SJCA Spirit Days will be on the last Friday of the month. Scholars may wear a school spirit t-shirt purchased through an approved vendor (graphic tees and logo prominent apparel are not permitted) with jeans or chinos. Shorts must be jean or chino and go to the knee. Jeans and chinos may not have any rips or tears. Gym shorts, including SJCA PE Shorts, are not permitted, except on PE Resource days for Lower School Scholars. Scholars may wear their choice of shoes except for heels, slides, mules, flip-flops and Crocs. Non-SJCA logo jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies are not permitted inside the Academy buildings. Spirit and Holiday Dress-Up Days are a school-wide fundraiser. These funds are deposited into the SJCA general account and will be used to purchase items the Academy needs. The cost to participate in Spirit/Dress-Up Days is $2 per scholar and are optional. If your scholar does not choose to participate, he/she must wear normal uniform attire.
