Parent Newsletter - December 2020

The Boys and Girls Club of Pico Rivera is able to offer tutoring services for any student in the El Rancho Unified School District. Parents just need to fill out an application to be a member:

Once the application is submitted online, the Boys and Club Director, Monica Neri, will be notified. She will contact the parents/students and provide them with program information alongside the schedule. If the student is in need of tutoring, she will coordinate with the student and schedule a time to meet via Zoom or over the phone.

Winter Break Holiday Meals at El Rancho High School

Wednesday, December 23rd

Tuesday, December 29th

10 am to 12 pm (while supplies last).

• 5-day meal kits will be for ALL children up to age 18 years.
• Meal kits will consist of 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches for each child.
• One meal kit per child, per household.
• No walk-ups will be allowed, you must be in a vehicle.

It is very important that every family complete the meal application. These applications help to bring additional funds to the district. The more funds the district has, the more supports your students can receive. If you haven't completed the application, please see the attached flyer for the link to the application.

There will be no school on the following dates:

12/21 - 1/8

School will resume on Monday, January 11th, 2021.

Thank you to all of the families for continuing to support your students at home! We could not have made it to this winter break without you!

Please let the students know that we miss them greatly and hope to be able to see them soon!
