A Message From The Principal
Please note that I have asked teachers to stay firm on deadlines and that student's grades will reflect the work or lack of work they are doing. Students attending in person are to bring their school provided devices to school daily. I am noticing a higher number of students showing up to school empty handed. Coming to school daily and being prepared with the required materials shows us that your student is focused and ready to learn. If your student is having issues with their devices please bring them to school so that we may send them out to be fixed.
This is 2nd our academic rotation. The rotation ends October 2, 2020. Students that have stayed on track will have earned their first 4 credits of this semester. Fall Break/Intersession will run October 6-16th. When student's return they will be placed in their 3rd rotation classes.
Keep working and know that all staff and teachers are here to assist.
Friendly Reminder!
Face coverings are still required and students are asked to wear them while in the building and on the bus.

District Covid-19 Data
MSD Warren Township COVID-19 data will be updated and shared each Friday on our district website which can be accessed HERE. Included in this data are the number of positive cases by school/facility as well as the total number of individuals (students and staff) who were required to isolate or quarantine. Individuals that are in isolation may or may not have COVID-19 and may or may not have been exposed within Warren schools/facilities. Isolation and quarantine are used to slow the spread of COVID-19.
**These numbers do not mean that a school or facility is unsafe for students and staff, rather that precautionary steps are being taken to protect all students and staff. We will continue to communicate with staff and families if they are identified as a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case.

School District Publications/News Media Use
The occasion may arise when the school district wants to recognize your child or your child's school. This may include your child's photo, your child's name or your child's work in district publications, newsletters, on school district websites, and in electronic/social media or in staff training videos. We may also want to tell the media (including newspapers, television, and radio) about your child's achievements. We never knowingly release information about a student to anyone who wants to use it for commercial/political purposes. However, we will honor your request to not include your child in these types of recognition if you notify your child's school office in writing that you do not want this type of information released.
Immunizations Reminders
In order for our schools to be in compliance with the state laws regarding immunizations, please make sure that your student(s) have their updated information on file with your school's nursing staff. Please make your school's nursing staff aware of any upcoming appointments for vaccines, or if there are any medical or religious objections to your student receiving his or her vaccines

New Student Information System-- Synergy
Warren is excited to announce that we have upgraded to a new student information system called Synergy. This means that our old parent portal, Tyler, will be going away. Instead, the parent portal will be upgraded to Synergy’s ParentVUE. ParentVUE is an online tool to help you monitor your student’s education. It allows you to update contact information and provides you with access to the latest information about your child’s attendance and scheduling. Our middle and high school families can view class assignments, report card grades, and course history with ParentVUE.
Once ParentVUE is available, parents who have a previous Tyler account will receive an email with instructions about setting up your new username and password. If you do not have a Tyler SIS account, please complete a registration form located on our parent portal webpage and return it to your school to begin the process of activating your account.
ParentVUE is a great way to stay connected with your student's school and track their academic progress. It also helps us stay in contact with you!

Census Update
2020 CENSUS - DEADLINE APPROACHING
If you have not already filled out the 2020 Census, please do so by September 30th. Every person counted in the census means more money for programs to assist our school, students, and families.
- The census is important. From school boards to the U.S. House of Representatives, the census is used to distribute power – and resources – to the people. The 2020 Census will determine how much federal funding our community receives for education, healthcare, housing, transportation, emergency services, and more. Every person counted in the census means more money for programs that support MSD Warren Township, our students, and you – their families. The census supports all children, helping them meet challenging state academic standards and have a well-rounded education
- The census is safe. By federal law, individual responses to the census are confidential for 72 years and cannot be shared with anyone, including law enforcement, immigration, tax agencies, or even the President of the United States. Your information is private and cannot be used against you.
- The census is easy. Completing the census for your household should only take about ten minutes and is simpler than ever to do. Your household should have received a form by mail earlier this year, but if you’ve misplaced it don’t worry! You can still respond by calling (844) 330-2020 (English Version or (844) 468-2020 (Spanish Version) or online at my2020census.gov.
- The census’s deadline is approaching. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline to respond to the 2020 Census was extended earlier this year until September 30, 2020. The date your household will reference when completing your census is April 1, 2020. Make sure you count everyone who was residing in your household on this date, including roommates, extended family, friends, and – of course – children!
