Dear Gettys Families,

The month of October is flying by! One of the highlights of this past week was watching Mr. Tharpe and Mrs. Bigby’s 8th grade Science classes launch their rockets at Brice Field. The students worked really hard to study the ins and outs of flight and space and their results were amazing. Thank you to Mr. Tharpe and Mrs. Bigby for providing this awesome opportunity for our students! I hope that everyone has a fantastic week as we head towards another long weekend for students. As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, October 30th and Tuesday, October 31st. Thank you for your continued support!
