April Recap
Dear Readers,
April flew right passed us but that does not mean we didn't make super fun memories! We continued with our Jiujitsu classes and started going to a Science Club. We learned a lot about Earth Day and what we could do to clean and save our planet. During Good Friday, we hopped on a bus and went to Hampton Beach to do an Easter egg hunt and play on the beach. To close out our full-day Friday, we announced the winners of our Annual Basket Bonanza. There were so many awesome baskets - we were so thankful to all who donated and sold tickets! During April Vacation, we went swimming at the Kennedy School and visited our friends at Farrington Nature Linc to have a camp fire and eat s'mores. We also went hiking and built forts during our time at Farrington Nature. In collaboration with Cambridge Bike Give Back, Bike Connector, JRA Cycles, and so many more contributors, MLC co-hosted a Bike Raffle which provided around 40 bikes for our Mystic families and friends. We ended our long awaited vacation with a trip to Franklin Park Zoo - it was such an amazing day! To close out the month, MLC's April Family Event was hosted by Jasmin from Craft Club.
We are so excited for the month of May, especially for our 13th Annual Spring for Children Fundraiser on May 18th (more info below!).
Sincerely,
Your Mystic Learning Center Team
