BPA Students Receive 56 Awards at the Region 7 Conference

The Business Professionals of America (BPA) Region 7 Leadership Conference took place Friday, January 26, at the Alexandria Technical and Community College in Alexandria, MN.

Twenty-seven students competed and represented Battle Lake School well, with 23 placing in multiple categories, bringing home 56 awards and 15 taking first place! “I couldn’t be more proud of the professionalism portrayed and the success these students had at Regions. I am excited to see what the State Conference will bring for them,” stated advisor Janell Kraemer.

Random Fun Fact - Fish are much much more intelligent than they seem. Newer science points to how fish can be self-aware, use tools, and have social structure. They can portray emotion and perform as well as dogs in IQ tests.
