Thank you to the FEP Group (Family Education Partnership) for helping to organize a Tunnel of Appreciation for elementary staff Wednesday! The students love this annual tradition!

Recreation Education and Exploration Day (REED) is an opportunity for students to focus on exploring resources in the community, gain exposure to possible lifelong recreational habits, and strengthen socialization skills. Our Pointers had a great time last week at Governor Dodge State Park!

Our Middle School's Kindness Club is promoting and creating a culture of kindness in our school. Each week we will be giving a 'shoutout' to students caught being kind. Congrats to Aida Tuttle! Aida shared her music during band class with another band member who forgot their music folder. Thank you Aida for showing kindness towards others at Mineral Point Middle School.

4K students used their shoes to trace and make the face of their horse! Students will learn all about farm animals for the next couple weeks.

Our greenhouse class was planting some of the oak savanna plants they had started from seed. Some of the seeds had been collected in the fall by other agriculture classes. We are so lucky to have this land!

There was magic in the air! Millie the Magician popped in magically. The kids were amazed with all of the magic she could do!

A few members of the Middle School Kindness Club were "bursting" with appreciation for their staff by handing out Starburst candy! A sincere thank you to all who showed gratitude during Staff Appreciation Week!

These kids have been hard at work getting those weeds out of the school garden already! We'll miss their hard work this summer!

Our Middle School Book Club had a great year-end trip! They enjoyed visits to Republic of Letters right here in MP, and then it was off to Madison for the Public Library and Barnes & Noble!

Working in education is a profession that never stops giving. In celebration of Staff Appreciation Week, we asked our staff to name one person from their school days that inspired them. Everyone on this list, whether they worked in Mineral Point Schools or not, influenced the life of someone who currently works in #PointerNation. The legacy of the people listed lives on as our staff members help mold the next generation of young people.
