3rd Grade Science with Mrs. Fields
Hello 3rd Grade Scientists!
Last week: We went over Unit 9 Lessons 2,3 and 4
Learning Points to Remember: The seasons are caused by the earth revolving around the sun
The sun’s gravity keeps all the planets in orbit.
Next week: We will review more fun facts about the sun and finish out Unit 9 with Lesson 5! We will explore different characteristics of stars and talk a bit on constellations.
Book pages: D84-D93
Extra Credit: Some students asked if they could do the solar system project for extra credit. You are cleared for take off! If you create a model of the solar system in which the planets are in the correct order next to the sun I will add a 5 point grade as extra credit. This is an OPTIONAL activity! Email me pictures of your project or upload them into the OLS.
