Must read: 2017-18 CFISD Employee Handbook

The 2017-18 Employee Handbook is now published online. You may access the Handbook at the District’s main website, http://www.cfisd.net/en/staff/hr/employee-handbook and also at http://inside.cfisd.net under Policies.

All employees are required to read and acknowledge receipt of the Handbook.

Please see the following attachments (at the bottom of this newsletter):

Employee Handbook Acknowledgment form which must be signed by all staff and maintained on file in our offices.
Second Employee Acknowledgment regarding the required distribution of certain policies to specific groups of employees. This Acknowledgment must be signed by all staff and maintained in our files. If you choose to get a hard copy of the policies, please ask Beth Phillips and she will print a copy for you.
List of substantive changes to the Handbook which you may use as a guide when discussing the Handbook with your staff (no signature required).

Hard copies of the acknowledgement pages (blue) that you are required to sign will be placed in your boxes. Please turn it your signed forms to Barbara Vandever no later than December 1st.

Leadership Learning Group

This year at Reed I want to start a leadership learning group. Whether you are working on your masters, already have it or are considering starting one soon, if you want to participate in leadership learning this is for you. This in-house program will allow us to engage in leadership development, learn more about leadership in CFISD, understand how important it is to grow and much more. If you're interested, please download the form on the bottom of this newsletter and turn it in to me by December 1st.
