Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
This is Mrs. Fiscus with the weekly update. This is our last full week of school before a short week next week and then our winter break. Winter break will be Thursday, December 22-Tuesday, January 3. I would like to give a huge thank you to the families that have adopted one of our students to help make their Christmas brighter and to the families that have generously donated to the canned food drive for the Culpeper Community Christmas basket. You are a positive role model for our students by showing kindness and generosity to strangers. Thank you for making our community a better place.
This Wednesday is a student and staff spirit day. You can choose to wear a winter flannel or your holiday wear, the choice is yours!

TWO former YOWELL Students are now PUBLISHED AUTHORS!
We want to share exciting news! Two former Yowell students, Lane Naccarato and Kendall Bopp are now published authors! Both authors are now 7th graders at Floyd T. Binns Middle School, however their similarities don't stop there! They both have little brothers named Easton who are still Yowell students and Kendall's mom is our very own beloved second grade teacher Mrs. Bopp! We are very proud of these authors and former stallions! If you are interested in purchasing their books, please follow the links below. Way to go, Kendall and Lane. We are very proud of you both!

making process for closing schools for inclement weather is complex with the safety of our students
and staff as our top priority. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about weather closings/delays...
Transportation: Morning update document
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
