Volunteer Central
Here are our volunteer opportunities for the week of September 3rd. We have many volunteer jobs this week, so if you need to plan ahead, please click on the “Click Here to Volunteer” button to go to our volunteer website and view upcoming volunteer opportunities. And don’t forget to check back during the week for new opportunities that may be added!
- It’s still HOT outside and many of the open volunteer opportunities this week involve water! We need help with water crew and also with water for Marchathon! Please help us keep these kids hydrated!
- Props need painting this Tuesday evening! You do not need to have experience, just show up in painting clothes and we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
- This week’s middle school game (Killian vs Creek Valley) is on WEDNESDAY at Hebron’s stadium, and we need help with band concessions that night. By helping with concessions for the middle school games you will receive one $20 credit per game toward your student’s fundraising goal of $450!
- This Friday we have home game #2 vs Eaton HS. All jobs need more volunteers, but we particularly need chaperones and water crew help!
- Marchathon is this Saturday! Many volunteers have already signed up, THANK YOU! We do still need more help, especially with the water coolers.
- If you have submitted your background check application and been approved, please don’t forget to go back into Voly and join the Hebron Band Event. If you click the Voly button below, and go to step 3, there’s a link that will take you straight to the event. I’m having to manually search for people and add them, so PLEASE help a busy mom out and add yourself to this event if you haven’t already!!
- If you have any questions reach out to Nikki Wilson at volunteers@hebronband.org
GND-Last Chance to Order
If you have not had a chance to place your Game Night Dinner order yet, you have one more chance to order for the rest of the season. We've reopened the GND order link until Monday night September 4, 2023.
Order meals here: HBBC Fall 2023 GND Orders
What is a Game Night Dinner?
Students have a very short time after school on Fridays to eat before preparing for a game and even less time for away games. The HBBC has arranged for meals to be delivered to the school to make your life easier. For $8.00 a meal , your band student can have a meal delivered to the school.
What restaurants are we ordering from? We're excited to partner with the following restaurants this year for our dinners: Carrabbas, El Paisa, Bread Zeppelin, Walk Ons, Dillas, Chicken Express, Panda Express and Dominos!
How do I order? Order meals here: HBBC Fall 2023 GND Orders
How do I pay? We accept cash, check or credit card (fees apply). The order form has details.
What's my deadline? We'll accept orders until September 4, 2023.

March-a-thon is this Saturday, September 9!
Hey band parents! We are less than a week away from Marchathon!
If you’re considering conducting a song, click the link below or scan to signup and Christie will reach out to you with the song list. https://paybee.io/quickpay.html?handle=hebronband&ppid=78#optionList
Remember- all proceeds go directly back to the band and this counts towards your child’s personal fundraising goals! We also have a few volunteer spots left, if you’re available to help that day we would greatly appreciate it! This is such a fun event, we hope you are all able to come join us!
Please note times and new route and final concert location at the Dragon Park! Please start inviting your friends and family to this wonderful fundraising and musical community event!
We need lots of volunteers to make this possible both through donations of water and
refreshments as well as helping along the parade route with traffic control or handing out
waters. It's a fun event that you will want to attend anyway so help lend us a hand and signup!

SquadFunds Fundraiser - Only 12 days left!
We are 85% of the way to our new goal of $80,000 raised in Squadfunds! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, and please keep sharing our fundraiser on social media! We have reached the goal of decorating the drum majors with silly string. Let’s keep going for some directors!
Our stretch goal is $90,000 so that the kids can "decorate" Mr. Sealy with silly string!!!! Let's keep the momentum going!!
Our top 5 students on the Leader Board are:
Isaac B.
Lauren S.
Jessica A.
Ashley C.
Junya S.
Currently the Percussion is in first place for the top section. The mellophones and tubas are within reach in a close 2nd and 3rd! The prize for the top section is a water balloon fight with the directors!
Please continue to share the link for your student’s campaign in social media. It is still not too late to add more emails!
If you have any questions reach out to:
If you haven't signed up, please do. We still have sections with quite a few non-participants. The students are counting on you.
Show Video Reminder
Don't post marching show videos of the band we love the most!
Hey parents, just a friendly reminder - do not post ANY video of the halftime show on ANY social media platform. It violates copyright and could give our competitors a peek of what we’re building towards. If you’ve got questions, please reach out to your section parent.
If you find a video on a social media platform, send the link to president@hebronband.org so we can get it handled.
LISD bond & VATRE Information
The Hebron Band Booster Club would like to let our parents know that the LISD Board of Trustees has voted to call for a $1.23B bond election and a voter-approved tax rate ratification election (VATRE). Both proposals will be up for voter approval on November 7th. Registered voters residing within Lewisville ISD boundaries will be asked to consider a total of seven propositions that would generate additional funding to support educational programs and conduct maintenance, repairs and renovations across the district. If voters approve all six bond propositions (totaling $1.23B) and the VATRE, the total tax rate will be 10.6 cents lower than last year’s tax rate, a double-digit decrease in the total rate.
Learn more about the LISD bond package & VATRE at www.lisdbond.com
