Shark Byte for the week of September 25th 🌊🦈
Principal's Corner
Greetings Shark Families,
We have had a fintastic week at OSCS. We have completed PM1 FAST testing with our students and have had a month of exciting things happening on campus. Teachers and students are wrapping up the month of September with instances of cooperation and setting up goals for Ocotber. There's an upcoming math competition approaching, see below for a Zoom link to enter it. If there are additional questions, please see Ms. Trujillo for more details. Students have been busy reading and earning points in AR. As of Friday, our 3rd grade students have earned the most points. Within the classrooms, Ms. Walter's Kindergarten class has incorporated a read aloud and interactive activity with glitter and glue. Robotics is working hard behind the scenes for the competition in October - we are rooting for our FIN-tastic teams!
On Monday, our Kindergarten students are headed to the Orlando REP to see a wonderful theater performance. In addition to that, we have so many things planned for October that will bring engagement and focus on our character lesson of self-discipline. How exciting!
As a reminder, October 5th we have two separate events to look forward to: our upcoming dean's corner and picture retakes. Save the date!
A special thank you to our families for supporting OSCS and being a part of this SHARK family! Have a great weekend!
Best Regards,
Andrew Moon, Principal
