Note from the Principal

Good morning parents!

I hope to see many of you at the HSA meeting this week! The Book Fair will also be open for purchasing. Please consider purchasing a book to support our school and encourage your child's love of reading!

I know the recent local cases of Coronavirus are causing a lot of anxiety and questions. I will continue to send out updates as they become available. Classroom donations of Lysol/Clorox wipes and 60% alcohol hand sanitizer are welcome. Teachers will continue disinfecting surfaces several times a day during transitions between classes and activities in addition to the daily comprehensive cleaning and sanitation at the end of the day. Please note that students are not authorized to handle Clorox, Lysol, or other potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals, including wipes. Baby wipes are authorized for student use.

High School Information Session

There will be an information session before the HSA meeting on March 11th at 6pm for 7th grade parents. This session will cover the high school admissions process, including High School Placement Exam, shadow days, scholarships, and other relevant topics. While this event is focused primarily on 7th grade, all grades are welcome! Abbie Greer, Director of Student Support at Bishop McNamara, will also be presenting.
