STUDENT PARKING PROCEDURES
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PARKING PERMIT TO PARK ON CAMPUS
Failure to comply with parking procedures may result in disciplinary consequences and/or the student vehicle being towed at the student’s expense.
Hours: Parking permits are sold in Beta Office from 7:30 AM – 8:49 AM, the first 30 minutes of A lunch, or the last 30 minutes of B lunch. No passes are sold after school. All drivers MUST have a valid driver’s license – no driving permits allowed.
Parking permits: $75 for the school year. Spring semester prices are posted in Beta Office
Designated student parking lots are the Far North Lot (near the softball field) and the Fine Arts Lot. Reserved Senior Parking is available for purchase through PTSA in the Far North Lot, Fine Arts Lot, and East Lot (behind Buildings 4 & 5). Reserved Senior Spots CANNOT be shared with other students. Do NOT park in the adjacent neighborhoods, staff lot or reserved parking spaces…you may be ticketed or towed if improperly parked.
Student vehicles may be towed at the expense of the student for the following violations:
1) Parking in a staff parking lot
2) Parking in a visitor space
3) Parking without a current parking permit visible in the front windshield over the inspection and registration stickers
4) Parking on grass, fire lanes, areas with stripes, medians, handicapped and areas designated as “No Parking”
5) Parking in another student’s Reserved Senior parking space
****Vehicles are towed and stored by: Signature Towing at 1204 Municipal Drive in Plano (972-423-4010) ****
A uniformed police officer is on duty in the parking lot each day. If you are involved in an accident on campus, exchange names, phone numbers, and insurance information. If no one is in the other vehicle, leave a note with your name and phone number and report it to School Resource Officer or Beta Office.
To purchase a parking permit for the 2023-2024 school year: In Parent Portal, click on the name of the student needing a parking permit under Student Registration Forms. Click on “Pay Now”.
If you will be temporarily changing vehicles, please obtain a temporary parking tag from Beta Office. You will need to provide the vehicle information for the temporary vehicle and park in an authorized student parking area.
If you will be permanently changing vehicles, peel the sticker from the windshield of the vehicle that will no longer be used and bring it to Beta Office to receive a replacement sticker.
2023-2024 Renewal of Free or Reduced-Price Meals
Families who may qualify should complete a federal meal application for free or reduced-price meals, available through Parent Portal or via the website at www.pisd.edu/mealprogram. Click the green SchoolCafé button to begin.
Families who already have a SchoolCafé account can log in to complete the meal application. Families who do not have an account can create one by selecting that option on the main SchoolCafé page. View this SchoolCafe information video for instruction on how to complete the application.

SENIOR RESERVED PARKING SPACE ASSIGNMENTS
Parking space assignments were released on FRIDAY, AUGUST 4TH AT 3PM in your account on the PESH PTSA website www.PlanoEastPTSA.org.
If you purchased a spot, but have not received your assignment this means we are still lacking either your design submission for approval or proof that you have purchased the $75 required PISD parking permit. This permit is purchased on Parent Portal, and is a separate purchase from the reserved senior parking spot. Please email Susan Rice at peshparking@gmail.com to get these details taken care of asap so that you can paint your spot on our final painting weekend coming up (8/11-8/13/23). In order for your spot to be reserved, you must paint something to designate it as a reserved spot.
In order to see your assignment, your account must be up to date:
Go to www.PlanoEastPTSA.org.
Log into the account you originally used to purchase your parking spot.
NOTE: You may need to reset your password in order to gain access. DO NOT create a new account.
On the homepage, select the black "Senior Parking" button.
Select the black “Verify Approval” button.
In the "Active Students" section, look for "Approved" for both your design and PISD parking permit receipt. If both are approved, your account is up to date and you will be able to see your spot assignment in this section.
FINAL PAINTING TIMES
Friday, August 11th, 6pm-9pm
Saturday, August 12th, 7am-12pm and 6pm-9pm
Sunday, August 13th, 7am-12pm and 6pm-9pm
PESH Administration prohibits anyone staying on campus after 9pm. Unless you have received special permission because your circumstances do not allow you to paint during the designated times, you should not be on campus painting at any other time.
Before painting, make sure to read and abide by all rules on the senior parking page at https://peshptsa.membershiptoolkit.com/parking. Non-compliance may lead to forfeiture of your space without a refund. Prohibited items will be painted over at Admin's discretion, and disciplinary action may be taken.
VOLUNTEERS, WE NEED YOU!
Because this activity occurs on campus, PTSA is required to have volunteers on campus during the designated painting times. Sign up at https://tinyurl.com/PESHParking2023. Before volunteering, please make sure you have an approved 2023-2024 background check through the Plano ISD volunteer management system. Find out how at www.pisd.edu/volunteer.
