Week of the Young Child - The week of the Young Child will be celebrated this year from April 16th to the 20th. We will have a different event each day for the children to enjoy. This week is set aside each year to appreciate all of the young children in our lives and how special they are.

4th - Picture Day

16th to 20th - Week of the Young Child

16th - Movement Monday

17th - Tasty Tuesday

18th - Wacky Wednesday

19th - Costume/Dress Up Day

20th - Lady Bug Day

24th to 27th - Kindergarten Testing

Water Bottles - Children are welcome to bring a water bottle to school with them each day. We do ask that they are taken home at night for proper cleaning and that nothing is put into the water bottles other than plain water. Please do not add Mio or other such flavoring etc.

Outside - The children will be going outside everyday (weather permitting). Please be sure they have appropriate clothing for the weather. Jackets are a must. It is helpful to dress in layers as the mornings can be quite cold while the afternoons can be very warm. This gives us the opportunity to layer as the weather changes so the kids are not too hot or too cold.

School Age - If your child will be joining us for school age camp ( entering K through 6th) be sure to get you camp registration in to reserve your spot. Camp is filling up quickly and we want to accommodate everyone that we can. Cam calendars are now available!

Preschool - Preschool children are enrolled year round and do not need to fill out the regular camp paperwork. There is a preschool camp paper coming home this week with more detailed information about preschool summer camp.

Early Bird registration is now over. Over 90% of our students have registered during the Early Bird period. If you have not registered please do so ASAP as some of our rooms are at capacity or very close.

You will need to register if you will be here beyond June, as our year starts on July 1. If there are any questions regarding registration please see Miss Karen.

Lady Bug Day will e held on April 20th. Each Year in honor of Earth Day we celebrate with a Lady Bug release. During the week the children will learn all about ladybugs and the wonderful things they do for our environment. On Lady Bug day the children will dress in red and black and have special events centered around the Lady Bug. The children will also go outside at 10 a.m. to release 5000 ladybugs! It is a wonderful event that parents are invited to join in. We look forward to seeing you there.
