WMMS Tiger Times
October 2022
Dear WMMS Families
October 2022
We're getting close to the end of the first quarter and we're well into the swing of things here at WMMS. Social contracts are posted in every room and students are becoming familiar with referring to them in many situations in class. To tie in with Capturing Kids' Hearts we have also implemented Positive Office Referrals. Students are receiving these when we catch them doing something great, being responsible, being respectful and upholding our social contracts. A positive office referral means the student conference calls home with me and we share the good news, and they receive a "Tiger Buck" to purchase items or discounts to Fun Nights. Our positive office referrals are also displayed outside the office and then will be sent home.
Our first Fun Night is Friday, October 21st from 6-8 PM. Please reference our student handbook as students must meet school attendance and behavior criteria to participate.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are this month and more information will be sent soon.
Be sure to check out the rest of the newsletter for other opportunities!
