School Wide Gold Homework Challenge
Vineyard Ranch provides opportunities for students to enrich and extend the curriculum through homework differentiation. We hope students take advantage of these monthly challenges to develop critical thinking and creativity.
Apples, Apples, Apples
Choose from the three engineering challenge options below. Projects will be displayed in the library the first few weeks in October.
- Drop projects in the library September 25-29.
- Label with name and teacher's name.
- Projects will be displayed until October 20.
Apples Alley
Using apples and school supplies, students create an apple-catcher to protect the fruit from hitting the ground.
Apple Annihilator
Using apples and school supplies, students build an apple wrecking ball to to “annihilate” markers and/or test for accuracy.
Apple Aloft
Using apples and school supplies, students build the tallest tower possible with an the apple perched at the top.
