We'll cover everything from unboxing and care to snapping your first shots! A helpful cheat sheet is included.

Celebrate Cupid with family and friends or your sweetheart! Learn a few simple steps then dance the night away on the spacious wooden dance floor at the monthly El Riad dance. All are welcome! The lesson is from 6:40-7:30p.m. and includes free admission to the dance that follows until 10:30p.m.. Music provided by a big band or a DJ playing danceable tunes across the decades. The instructor will teach other partnered dance moves along with popular group and line dances throughout the evening. Business casual or dressy attire is requested and themed outfits are encouraged!

Learn about the SWEET hobby of beekeeping in 3 information packed Saturday session. bee keeping expert, animal nutritionist and developer of protein supplement for honey bees, Dr.Dale Hill will cover history of beekeeping, castes and social structure of bee colonies, apiary location and regulations, feeding and care of bees, honey harvest and more. Start providing a safe haven and local tricks and tips for keeping bees in SD. One of the instructor’s favorite bee basics bibles, “First Lessons in Beekeeping” book and other customized handouts are included. Ages 16 and up (youth welcome with paid family registration and participating adult).

Start at the beginning and grow from there using a ‘Win or Learn’ approach to beginner chess ... and life! This class is for the new beginner, young and old, who doesn’t yet know about the pieces and how they move - or for the early beginner who has learned a bit but is not yet comfortable with the game. Students learn piece movement, chess foundations, and understanding check, checkmate, and stalemate. We cover topics such as safe squares, threats, and exchanges to build fundamental skills needed to learn strategic tactics. All ages welcome (under 8 with a participating adult).

Learn the fundamentals of Slovenian language including the alphabet, basic vocabulary, and simple phrases for easy communication. Yelena Balashova, native of Russia, helps you gain a deeper understanding of the English language through this knowledge of Russian. Ages 16 & Up.
