Important reminder: No guest riders allowed on bus routes on the last day of school
There is a lot going on on the last day of school! To ensure student safety and help students get where they are supposed to be, no guest riders are allowed on bus routes on the last day of school (no bus passes). Thank you for your cooperation!
Important reminder from the Bremerton Backpack Brigade
If your child has been participating in the Backpack program during the school year please do not forget to pick up their summer break food box. Boxes must be picked up at the school - they are very heavy ( weighs ~40 pounds) and can not be carried on the school bus. Questions? Please contact the Bremerton Backpack Brigade at (360) 471-9588.

Exciting District Leadership Announcements!
Donna Dearin-Colosky has accepted a one-year appointment as the interim superintendent for the Bremerton School District for the 2022-23 school year. Read the announcement.
John Fisher has accepted the position of Director of Facilities and Small Works Projects. John is replacing Dave Herrington who retired this spring. John comes to the District with experience in the custodial, maintenance and groundskeeping industry with the Eatonville and Clover Park School Districts. He is currently the Manager of Maintenance and Operations with the Eatonville School District.
Kimberly Powell has been named principal for Naval Avenue Elementary starting in the fall. Read the announcement.
Carly Takata has been named principal for Kitsap Lake Elementary. Read the announcement.

Washington State Board of Education is looking for feedback!
The State Board of Education (K-12) needs feedback on Washington State’s graduation requirements (specifically graduation pathway options). Share your view about the High School and Beyond Plan, different types of learning opportunities, and tell us if you think graduation pathway options prepare students for life beyond high school. Feedback is included in reports to the Board and to the legislature. The public survey closes July 1 and is available in Spanish (disponible en español).
