This month we are interviewing our very own Dearborn Office Technician of 9 years, Ms. Connie. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been part of LAUSD for 29 years now. Connie is is a wonderful nurturer at home and to all of us at Dearborn. She has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Her children's names are Brandon, Dominic and Michaela.

Connie's favorite color is red, loves soul food and will try anything once! She is a self proclaimed "Snack Demon" for Cheetos! In her spare time she loves to party and dance to good music with her family and friends. She also enjoys hanging out at the beach, park or relaxing in her zone at home with her favorite reality shows.

In the United States, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, is observed annually on the third Monday in January. The day commemorates the life and work of Dr. King, who was a Baptist minister and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement. People are encouraged to use the day to “reflect on the principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change espoused by Dr. King.”
