** ONLY Required for placement in IMAGINE LANGUAGE AND LITERACY **

Students will login through the single sign on platform (Clever) or by logging into their Chromebook/Gmail account

THIS IS SCREEN FOR RETURNING Language and Literacy USERS WILL SEE WHEN THEY LOGIN

(THEY WILL CLICK ON THE OWL TILE)

**Returning students can get immediate access to the programs but we're asking teachers to still facilitate the benchmark so we have baseline data for the schoolyear**

Students will need to select the class click the the orange “Take Test” tile

(If students share multiple teachers or classes they may need to select their class)

IF your students are BRAND NEW to Imagine Learning Their Screen Will look like this

Students will see the test or tests listed. Clicking the yellow arrow by the test title will take the student into the test.

What Happens POST Galileo test for NEW students?

For our students NEW to Imagine Language & Literacy this year upon logging in for the first time they will see this screen

Booster will say "You're about to take a test, so do your best"

THIS is not a full blown diagnostic rather a 1 - 2 short passages to further "fine tune" initial placement

(Returning students will not see the Imagine Learning Diagnostic)

For K-1st Grade- Students will see this "Break" screen at questions 9, 18 and 27. Some teachers may choose to have this be the "end of session" to break up the test

NAVIGATING THE GALILEO TEST MONITORING PAGE

From your imagine Language & Literacy dashboard click on the blue bar to launch Imagine Assessment

THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS YOU CAN ACCESS THE TEST MONITORING SCREEN

1. From the reports tab at the top go to: Monitoring --> Test Monitoring

2. Launch directly from your "Test Monitoring" Hotlink that you can set up from the "Manage Tiles section" (This process is explained in the soapbox video above)

Details on test monitoring

When students begin you can monitor students’ participation with the test in real-time, allowing you to see where students are in the completion process as well as if they are answering correctly or incorrectly. In addition, you can monitor test fatigue. Clicking on the clock will reveal how long they have spent. You remember that in the K-1 test there are periodic rest slides to encourage students, which is a great time to take a brain break.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING TESTS

As the teacher, you can control test access and support a student who may have submitted accidentally (or one who clicked through without effort.) The lock informs you of whether a student has submitted their test. If the lock next to their name is closed and blue the test is locked but not submitted and if the lock is closed and green the test is locked and submitted. If they accidentally submit, click the lock to allow them to continue working.

HOW CAN I SEE MORE STUDENTS AT ONCE ON MY DEVICE?

You may wish to see more of your students at one time. (By clicking the opposite arrow icon)

the graphs will disappear and you will see a longer list of your students at one time.

Analysis at the question level

Once all your students have completed the test, you can go in and review the final results. When looking at this, you will see the percentage of your class who got each question correct. Remember that this is a summative test that is assessing the breadth of the standards, so it is possible that your students will be tested on standards that they have not been taught. If you hover over a question number, the standard being assessed will appear. If you have a question about the results, click on the number
