Meet the New Principal
Hello Shawano Families,
Greetings from Principal Raduechel!
My name is Dr. Matthew Raduechel and I am very fortunate to begin the 2023-2024 school year as your high school principal. I have been an educator for 18 years, starting my career in Wittenberg-Brinamwood as a Physical Education and Health instructor. More recently, I have spent the last 7 years at John Muir Middle School in Wausau as the Associate Principal of Scheduling and Programming in addition to serving as the Wausau School District’s K-12 Art Coordinator. In addition, throughout my career I served as a coach and advisor in activities such as Student Council, Football, Wrestling, Track, as well as the strength and conditioning coordinator for Wausau West High School.
My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for 18 years and we have three children; Evelyn (13), Nolan (10), and Eleanor (10). We currently live in Wausau, WI but, we’ve spent several weekends exploring the Shawano community and all it has to offer. We are very excited to become a part of the school community, supporting students and teachers and Shawano at large.
I believe strongly in building future leaders and I’m committed to finding experiences that build everyone’s leadership capacity. I know that when an individual takes ownership over their personal improvement, they become lifelong learners; proactively seeking the means for growth. Everyone has the capability to lead in one form or another, it’s our role as educators to help students find their strengths and build on them.
I look forward to a fantastic 2023-2024 school year! I hope you all have had a restful and restorative summer and are looking forward to a great year at Shawano Community High School!
Go Hawks!
Annual Online Data Review
With SchoolPay (See attached SchoolPay Parent Guide), you may pay all of your child/children’s fees and add monies to their food service account in one transaction. Regardless of the amount of this transaction, you will only be charged a $1.50 transaction fee. You may still pay with check or cash by mailing or dropping off your money at your child’s school. (See attached school contact information)
Our goal is to allow you to complete all of these tasks on your schedule. You do NOT have to come to school. You will need to have your username and password and will only be able to login to Skyward Family Access using your account information, not your child’s account information. If you do not know your account information, click the “Forgot your Login/Password?” link on the Skyward Family Access webpage. An email will be sent to you with the reset information. (Only the primary family can complete all the information and forms. The secondary family can only update their information.)
Student schedules will be available in Skyward on August 14th once you have completed and submitted the Annual Online Data Review for your child.

5. All forms and demographic updates need to be completed by Sept 8, 2023.
6. If you want to purchase the iPad Self Insurance, this payment is due by October, 2, 2023.
We are here to help. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school directly. The Shawano School District’s Welcome Center and Enrollment Services office, located at 1050 S. Union Street inside Shawano Community Middle School, is also available for assistance. Families of all district students may be served at our Welcome Center office.
