Outdoor Learning
Please submit the following permission form for Outdoor Learning and walking field trips for the 2023-2024 school year:
https://forms.gle/5fQ1bh5uR9p2rUsW8
In order to make outdoor learning at the school forest possible, the cost to each student will be $15 for transportation. This cost will cover the entire year of outdoor learning. Please submit payment prior to your child's first day of outdoor learning. *Checks can be made out to : Cooper Montessori School
Please see the schedule below for the dates that each level will attend the school forest for Outdoor Learning 8:30-11:00 AM. Students will arrive at school as normal, and will be bussed to and from the school forest. Students will arrive back at school before lunch. Please remember to dress your students appropriately for the weather. There is also an indoor learning center at the school forest that will be utilized in inclement weather. Since the goal will be to remain outside for as much of this time as possible, and due to the fact that students will be in the forest, please send your student to school wearing any desired insect protection (hats, long sleeve shirts, pants/ leggings, insect repellant, etc.) Students will not be able to apply any sort of bug spray on themselves at school or at the forest, and staff will not be able to assist with this. Please do not have your students bring it to school, but please apply any desired repellent before dropping them off at school that morning.
