Free Parenting Programs for Parents and Caregivers of Children 0-18 Years
The Thrive Initiative is a suite of evidence-informed parenting programs that are designed to empower parents and caregivers as they nurture children from birth until 18 years of age. The Initiative includes a series of face-to-face and online parenting programs and a range of online resources and interactive learning modules to meet the families where they are.
The Thrive Initiative is divided into developmentally age-appropriate areas and consists of four universal parenting programs and two targeted parenting programs. The four universal Thrive Initiative programs are available in online formats and immediate access to programming is granted to parents and caregivers. The universal face-to-face and targeted programs are delivered by professionals in an in-person format.
The programs are owned by the Federal Government, and the online universal programs are available at no cost to military and civilian families.

What is Tutor.com? Tutor.com offers personalized, on-demand student support for every student in elementary-high school and College in our online classroom (no web cams). Tutors assist students with specific homework problems, but can also help with concept review, writing assignments, test prep and more. Tutor.com tutors are available on-demand in 150+ different subject areas from any internet-connected device.

Communication at Charles Cotesworth Pinckney Elementary School (CCP)
There are several ways in which the school communicates with parents and the community. The School Communication Plan outlines all communication for CCP. Please click on the link to view the school's communication plan.
The Principal sends a weekly newsletter to all parents by email on Friday or the last school day of the week. Please contact the main office if you are not receiving these emails. Please click on the link to view the CCP Patriot Update. The link does not change during the school year.
The CCP Parent VOICE is available for parents to share accolades, questions, and concerns. Responses to all VOICE comments will be published in the CCP Patriot Update through the VOICE Input Link provided in the CCP Patriot Update.
