Course Registration for 2022-2023
The 2022-2023 course registration process began on January 5th and will continue through February 9th. We strongly encourage students to discuss course selections with parents/guardians before meeting with their counselor. Below is the registration timeline:
Jan. 5th: Students watched the course registration presentation in homeroom and began working on their individual academic planner in Schoology.
Students schedule individual (virtual) appointments with counselors via Calendly to review teacher placement recommendations, graduation requirements, and make course selections for 2022-2023. These appointments must be made during a free period (lunch, study hall, etc.).
JUNIORS - January 10th-14th
SOPHOMORES - January 19th-21st
FRESHMEN - January 24th-28th
For more information on course offerings and course descriptions, visit our Program of Studies.
Quarantine Tutoring and Support Services
Part of our efforts by the Counseling Department to support students who are quarantined is a daily check in with their counselor. This daily check-in for the student is OPTIONAL. This check in would be in the form of a Google Meet or Zoom at a predetermined time each day.
If a student is going to be away from school for an extended period of time, they should reach out directly to all of their teachers to let them know. Students do not need to share the reason for their absence if they do not want to. While students are away from the building, they should attempt to keep up with as much classwork as possible. If students need assistance in this type of communication, your counselor can help!

Watch this short video on resilience: Resilience
In life, we all face challenges, stress, and hard times. Practicing healthy coping skills can help you overcome, rise up, and build resilience. Here are some healthy coping strategies that can move you toward a resilient future:
Ask for help. Talk to a close family member or caring adult and ask them to listen
Exercise, workout, play sports
Create a timeline to get work done
Get outside for fresh air and spend time in nature
Rest. Go to bed early and get a good night’s sleep
Get creative! Draw or paint, play an instrument, sing, dance, write a song/poem/letter, write in a journal
Breath! Take some deep, relaxing breaths
Eat healthy and take care of your body
Build something, take on a project or hobby
Connect with healthy friends & laugh with them!
Tidy up your room and space at home
